The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Serbian Sloboda (0-1) in Kranj on Tuesday night. Visitors were edged by twelfth ranked Slovenian Triglav (1-1) 78-76. It was a key game for the second position in the league. 24 personal fouls committed by Sloboda helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Leon Santelj (205-1995) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Nejc Klavzar (187-1999) who added 16 points during the contest. At the losing side Dusan Kutlesic (200-1994) responded with 21 points and 4 assists. Sloboda U.'s coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Triglav left bottom position moving up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Sloboda at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with MZT Skopje. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Bottom-ranked Montenegrin Podgorica (0-2) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their second consecutive match to top-ranked Bosnian Sloboda (2-0) 112-96. The winners were led by forward Sani Campara (190-1999) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 24 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists and Jasmin Jakupovic supported him with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 30 points by Zoran Vuceljic (197-2003, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Podgorica. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sloboda keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Podgorica at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
