Tartu trailed by as many as 17 points in the second half but battled back to overcome Lugano Basket in the EuroChallenge. Poor Swiss side failed at the end and had no chance in overtime losing their third game. The Estonian team celebrated the initial victory after 91:88 thriller. It was an usual start and the teams exchanged the baskets in the opening tip. Lugano Basket played better in the end of the quarter as Mladjan's three showed 24:20 after the first 10 minutes. Due to another productive period the guests increased to 45:40 at the halftime when Mladjan nailed another three-pointer. Abukar and Abukar started the team's 9-0 run and Stockalper closed it at 56:42. Abukar brought 67:52 and Tsintsadze reduced to 67:54 after 30 minutes. Efevberha gave his side the biggest lead at 71:54, but the team from Switzerlalnd did not win the game. A 10-0 run allowed the hosts to climb to 71:64 and then Talts reduced to 77:78. Veideman and Abukar exchanged the baskets at the end for the extra time. In overtime the hosts took the lead from the first seconds and celebrated their initial victory due to 11-8 in it. Veideman notched 22 points to lead the charge and Talts followed him with 20. Eziukwu collected 18 points and 15 rebounds, whilst Tsintsadze scored 13. Abukar ended up with 23 points in the losing case and Draughan added 19 points and 12 assists. Finn posted 14, whilst Efevberha netted 12.
