They scored 28 of 51 Dynamo’s points. Kyiv tried to work ot their loss but when they came up to St.Petersburg for less than 10 points American playmaker Ed Cota and their teammates stoped rivals. In the third place game, Khimky defeated Final Four host Fenerbahce Istambul 86-79. 7500 spectators saw the individual competition of two playmakers. Damir Mrsic (21 points, 7 assists) had won with Melvin Booker (20 points, 2 assists), but he didn’t enough help of bench players to led up Fenerbahce to team-victory. The crowd of 5,000 fans filled completely Eleftheria stadium in Nicosia. And again this year Rest of the World team beat Europe All-Stars team. Non-Europeans were leading entire game and only in the last minutes the game was extremely close. However Europeans did not have enough time to catch up with better performing Rest of the World players. The hero of the evening was Shammond Williams (188-G-75), who assured last 11 points for his team, scoring 8 himself and dashing for a 3-pointer to Ruben Wolkowisky.
