Regular Season Round 2: Angelico BI - Antwerp 97-96

Angelico Biella used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Antwerp 97-96 on Wednesday night. Antwerp Giants were trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 23-20 charge of Angelico Biella, which allowed them to win the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American-Danish guard Alan Voskuil (191-86, college: Texas Tech) saved the victory by scoring 30 points and 8 assists. point guard Tommaso Laquintana (187-95) contributed with 22 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Angelico Biella players scored in double figures. Angelico Biella's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Kyle Fogg (190-90, college: Arizona) replied with 31 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Ryan Pearson (198-90, college: George Mason, agency: Court Side) added 23 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Antwerp Giants. Angelico Biella will face Le Mans at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Antwerp Giants will play against KTP-Basket in Kotka.
