Regular Season Round 3: Nanterre - Mons-Hainaut 88-68

JSF Nanterre used a home court advantage and outleveled the opponent from Quaregnon 88-68 on Tuesday night. The game was mostly controlled by JSF Nanterre. Belfius Mons-Hainaut was better in third quarter 17-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. JSF Nanterre forced 20 Belfius Mons-Hainaut turnovers. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. It was a great evening for guard Jamal Shuler (191-86) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points. Forward Kyle Weems (198-89, college: Missouri St.) helped adding 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). JSF Nanterre's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was power forward Jason Love (206-87, college: Xavier) with 12 points and 7 rebounds and guard Mike Smith (198-87, college: E.Tenn.St.) scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. JSF Nanterre will face Joensuun Kataja at home in the next round. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play against Benfica.
