Finals Game 1: Rovinari - Fraport SKY 83-80

Rovinari have secured the winning finale of their EuroChallenge season. They edged Fraport Skyliners to clinch the third overall place. Giordan Watson drained a late three-pointer that sealed the win for the Romanian side. Rovinari jumped to a 20:13 lead after the opening quarter. Fraport Skyliners cut the distance in the second frame. The German team pulled within two points at the interval 36:34. Fraport Skyliners erased the deficit in the third frame. The Frankfurt team eked out a 56:55 lead heading into the fourth frame. The lead changed hands for few times throughout intense fourth period. Giordan Watson tied things up at 78 with just under a minute left in regulation. Karpelesz hit a free throw and then Troupe added another one to give Rovinari a narrow lead. But Cobbs tied things up at 80 from the stripe. Giordan Watson responded with a three-pointer, while Armand came up empty on his attempt and Rovinari got away with the victory. Troupe and Darby finished with 16 points each for Rovinari. Voigtmann responded with 21 points and 11 rebounds for Fraport Skyliners. Cobbs had 16 points in the defeat.
