Dexia Mons-Hainaut advanced into the EuroChallenge regular season. They stormed past Trefl Sopot in Poland to finalize a comprehensive aggregate victory in this clash. Marcus Hatten stepped up with 17 points to lead the visitors. The Belgian team opened the game with four points in a row and maintained the lead. Moreover Dexia Mons-Hainaut established a comfortable 22:6 lead midway through the starting frame. The visitors enjoyed a massive 28:12 lead at the first break. Cage opened the second period converting a three-point play to boost the lead. Trefl Sopot failed to spark the intrigue in the second term. Dexia cruised to a 49:31 halftime advantage. Giedrius Gustas and Dilewicz tipped off the second half with five points in a row to narrow the deficit. However Marcus Hatten knocked down 7 points as Dexia Mons-Hainaut stayed in the drivers seat. They ensured a 59:47 lead at the final intermission. Ronell Taylor, Cage and Marcus Hatten ensured a 17-point lead for the visitors early in the final quarter and Dexia never looked back en route to the victory. Ron Lewis produced 13 points for Dexia Mons-Hainaut. Ben McCauley and Ronell Taylor knocked down 12 points each in the win. Filip Dylewicz and Adam Waczynski accounted for 13 points apiece for Trefl Sopot. Giedrius Gustas chipped in 10 points in the loss.
