Steuau clinched the EuroChallenge regular season appearance. They sealed the positive outcome in the clash against BC Kyiv on the road. Robert Turner scored 25 points to lead Steauau to the second straight win. Steauau marked their ambitions in the opening quarter. They grabbed an 18:11 lead midway through the starting frame. Steaua ensured a 21:14 lead after ten minutes. BC Kyiv opened the second quarter with 7 points in a row to level things up. But the visitors quickly regained the lead and recorded a 36:29 advantage at halftime. Stanescu gave Steaua a double-digit lead midway through the third period. The margin grew at 17-point mark before BC Kyiv capped the quarter with ten points in a row to narrow the deficit. The hosts erupted for seven consecutive points early in the final period drawing things level at 62. But next 15 points were scored by Steaua and the visitors ran away for good in this one. Uros Lucic nailed 14 points for Steaua. Jerome Coleman and Joshua Jackson contributed 11 points each for the winners. Vitaly Kovalenko and Aleksandr Riabchuk replied with 13 points each for BC Kyiv. Olexandr Tischenko accounted for 12 points in the loss.
