Novo Mesto saw a 78:60 win over KK Zagreb CO as Krka opened their EuroChallenge home campaign. Slovenian team looked much better in the court and rightfully tied the record at 1-1. Dusan Djordjevic opened the game for the hosts that were supported by more than 1000 spectators. Dragic drove a lay-up for 10:6 and Ikonic scored for 16:9. Bubalo reduced to 18:16 early in the second period, but Jure Balazic increased the lead to 27:19. Dusan Djordjevic made the last free throws in the half for 36:31 halftime advantage. It took a while in the start of the second half for both teams to score, while Pavic made iot 38:31. Ikonic increased to 52:39, while Pavic made it 59:44. Krivec was the last to score in the third quarter for 58:46 advantage as Krka won the period 22-15. Muric drove a lay-up for 60:46 in the start of the last frame when it became clear about the winner. Muric nailed also three for 70:58 and Balazic added two for 75:58. Dusan Djordjevic changed the numbers on the board for the last time as they showed 78:60 final win for the hosts. Jure Balazic top-scored for the hosts with 16 points and 11 boards, while Dusan Djordjevic and Edo Muric posted 12 each. Damir Mulaomerovic ended up with 16 points in the losing effort.
