Regular Season Round 4: Netanya - Liege 78-67

Barak Netanya handed the first loss to Belgacom Liege and tied them at 3-1 record on top of Group D in EuroChallenge. It happened right after the home 78:67 win over the opponents in Israel. Jenkins started the game from the long range and he nailed another two midway through the quarter. Travis and Watson however enjoyed the closer shots to give the hosts 22:19 at the end of the first period. Gur brought 29:21 and then however Belgacom Liege answered with 8-0 run for 29:28. Gur and Matela exchanged the shots at the end of the half for 39:36 home side deficit. In the third quarter the picture remained the same in the game as the hosts kept 5-7 points advantage. Travis and Griffin were the last players to score for their teams in the third period for 57:51 on the board. Matela nailed three to reduce to 59:54 early in the fourth, while Travis ensured the bigger lead for the team from Israel at 65:56. Asante delivered the victory from the free throw line as Barak Netanya handed the first loss to Belgacom Liege. Banks top-scored for the winners with 24 points, while Travis had a great night of 23 points and 11 rebounds. Elton Brown followed them with 16 points and 8 caroms in the winning effort for 3-1 record. Bozeman and Jenkins delivered 15 each in defeat and Matela netted 12. Banks remains the top-scorer of the tournament averaging 24.5 points per game.
