Regular Season Round 6: Oostende - M.Hainaut 75-67

Oostende claimed the top position in Group H of the EuroChallenge regular season. They defeated visiting Dexia to improve at 4-2 record. Matt Lojeski scored 22 points to lead the team. Dexia slipped at 3-3 record but capitalized on the loss of Nancy to Orleans to squeeze through into the next round. The teams stayed very close in the opening term. The lead changed for several times before Bellin gave Dexia a 17:16 lead ten minutes into the game. Caleb Green and Matt Lojeski opened the second period with five consecutive points as Oostende surged ahead. Not for long though as Dexia retained the advantage midway through the stanza. The teams continued to trade the baskets as the visitors pulled away with a 38:35 lead at halftime. Things hardly changed in the third quarter. A tight intense battle saw Oostende eke out a narrow 58:57 advantage heading into the fourth term. Pelle knocked down eight points in a row early in the final period as Oostende grabbed a 68:62 lead. Ron Lewis put Dexia within four points but Matt Lojeski and Katnic dropped four straight points and Oostende ran away for good. Darrel Mitchell dropped 14 points for Oostende. Caleb Green netted 12 points in the victory. Ron Lewis replied with 15 points for Dexia. Ronell Taylor notched 14 points in defeat.
