Krka wins over the Giants in the defensive style in Eurochallenge Last 16 Day 3. The Slovenian underdogs improved to 2-1 record after 62:46 win. Darnell Wilson opened the game for the guests and he also closed the period at 12:10. Another seven baskets in a row from the player brought 21;16 lead for his team midway through the second period. Pavic and Balazic meanwhile closed the second frame to taste 28:24 halftime advantage. Antwerp Giants could not score for about minutes in the game, while Novo Mesto went on a 24-0 run bridging the second and third quarters. Drobnjak made it 42:24 and only Moors broke the silence for the visitors. Djordjevic closed the period at 46:30 and after 16-16 in the last quarter Krka celebrated the necessary win. Pavic made a jump shot to be the last player to score in the game. Christopher Booker paced all the winners with 17 points and Pavic nailed 11. Muric ended up with 10 points, while Balazic scored 6. Darnell Wilson replied with 23 points in the losing effort, whilst Moors notched 11.
