Pinar Karsiyaka is on top of EuroChallenge Group J after another victory in the tournament. This time the Turkish underdogs overcame Dexia Mons-Hainaut 94:71. The Turkish club improved to 3-0 in Group J and dropped Dexia to 1-2. As the game started, the hosts showed that there were no adverse effects to the long journey as they leapt out to an early lead. Dexia Mons-Hainaut tried to pull themselves back into the game and traded baskets for the remainder of the opening period to trail 17:20. Erdogan and Batuk scored for 25:17 and Saruhan made it 31:23. McCauley sent the teams to the lockers at 46:36 making three with a foul. In the third quarter the Turkish representative erupted with 31-15 and took 77:51 after three quarters.Bellin scored four points in a row for his team to cut it to 79:55, while Eldridge made seven for the home side to give them 87:59. Cage was the last to score in the game for the final result. Stanojevic and Smith top-scored for the winners with 19 points each to remain perfect. Holston followed them with 15 and Eldridge netted 14. Benjamin McCauley replied with 19 points in the losing effort, while Taylor netted 14 and Cage posted 11.
