Lukoil Academic used a team game against Romeo Travis and his Barak Netanya to seal 84:76 win. The Bulgarian team improved to 2-1 record in Group I of EuroChallenge, while the team from Israel dropped to 0-3 record. Lukoil Academic opened the game with 7-0 run and kept the advantage until the last minutes of the first period. Romeo Travis however tied the game at 19:19 and Washam gave the guests from Israel the lead at 21:19. Veselinov tied it all again in the start of the second period and Peterson erupted for 39:29 home lead. After 28-13 in the frame the hosts enjoyed 48:34 halftime deficit. The tempo was also high in the third period and both teams exchanged 17 points for each basket. It allowed Lukoil to keep 65:51 lead after 30 minutes when Heath closed the period from the free throw line. Watson and Peterson exchanged for 67:57, while McCollum and Younger reduced to 67:64. Moreover Romeo Travis cut it to 75:74, but Veselinov and Avramov were perfect from the free throw line and Green made the final basket in the game. Peterson stepped up with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Stojanovski netted 15. Avramov added 13, whilst Sundov collected 11 points and the same number of rebounds. Romeo Travis erupted with 32 points and 14 rebounds in defeat and Watson scored 11.
