Antwerp Giants upset Group J favorites of EuroChallenge as the Belgian team handed the Turkish side their first defeat. Moreover Antwerp Giants celebrated the initial 86:80 win on Tuesday night in Turkey. The Giants proved the ambitions from the first seconds when they opened the game with four consecutive points. The Turkish team however won the period 24-14, but could not keep the score for good. Wilson made it 35:33, while Eldridge and Andre Smith closed the period at 42:36. In the third quarter the guests produced 26-20 to tie the game before the final period. Moors and Holston made it 62:62, while Black gave the Giants 73:67 deficit. Holston reduced to 77:73, but Mejri last points brought the final win for the visiting team. Graham Brown top-scored for the winners with 22 points and Black netted 20. Wilson finished the game with 17 points and Biggs notched 11. Andre Smith collected 26 points and 15 rebounds for the home side. Holston responded with 18 and Stanojevic added 12.
