Barak Netanya wins Israeli clash in Day 5 of EuroChallenge as they beat Maccabi Haifa 77:74 away from home. Both teams stay at the bottom of the group with 1-4 records. The first quarter was a great example of the great battle from both sides. Maccabi Haifa and Barak Netanya exchanged the baskets and leads several times as Haifa took 21:20 after 10 minutes. Moreover they added 22-16 in the second frame for 43:36 at the halftime. The third quarter however completely belonged to the guests. Guetta first tied it all at 45:45 and then Banks gave them 54:53 deficit. Washam nailed three to close the frame at 57:56. In the last period again the teams exchanged the lead several times as Jackson gave the hosts 74:70 lead. Those points however were the last for his side as Barak Netanya finished the game with 7-0 run for the final success. Banks stepped up with 24 points and Washam followed him with 14. Brown netted 13, whilst Travis scored 12. Rothbart ended up with 15 points in defeat. Low was responsible for 14 and Killingsworth added 13.
