Lukoil Academic tasted another win in Israel to finish EuroChallenge Group I with 4-2 record. The Bulgarian team advanced to the Quarterfinals with 77:67 road win over Barak Netanya. The Israeli team took control in the first period and finished the quarter with 24:17. They could not however keep the score for good later in the game. With 19-11 the guests grabbed 36:35 halftime advantage as Mack closed the half. Both teams threatened to put daylight between each other at various times and in the third it was the visitors who looked most likely to break the game open. Stoykov and Heath made it 54:48, while Stojanovski followed them for another lead. A 21-17 was another proof for the win in the last quarter as Lukoil Academic overcame Haifa team. Avramov led the way with 18 points, while Stoykov and Stojanovski had 11 apiece. Mack followed them with 10 points in a winning effort. Travis ended up with 16 points for the hosts as Israeli team finished the campaign with 1-5 record. McCollum scored 11 and Segev added 10.
