BK Ventspils edged BC Oostende 97:92 in two overtimes to tie the series at 1-1 in EuroChallenge Quarterfinals. The Baltic State won the opening quarter 26:20, but could not keep the lead for good. BC Oostende responded with 19-15 in the second frame to reduce the gap to 41:39 at the halftime. In the third quarter the hosts again started to play better taking control of the game. They needed 21-15 in the period to increase to 8 points after 30 minutes. The guests however did not panic and won the fourth period. Serron nailed three for 74:72 and Rashad Anderson increased to 4 points with 2.30 in the fourth period. Matt Lojeski made two free throws to cut the margin, while his another appearance on the free throw line tied the game. Moreover Matt Lojeski brought the lead at 78:76 making another two free throws with 1.20, but Janis Strelnieks tied it again at 78:78 that became the end of the fourth frame. Green opened overtime from the free throw line bringing 80:78 advantage but then the score was tied again at 80:80 and 82:82. It was Oritseweyinmi Efejuku from the arc for 85:82 lead with less than two minutes but Faison scored two and added a free throw for 85:85. Oritseweyinmi Efejuku shot another three but missed that time, while Rashad Anderson missed another one with the buzzer. In the second overtime Oritseweyinmi Efejuku nailed three and then added a jump shot for 90:88 but then again Matt Lojeski tied it at 90:90 from the free throw line. Green and Oritseweyinmi Efejuku exchanged the baskets for 92:92 and the latter added another free throw for 93:92 with 2 minutes in the second overtime. Oritseweyinmi Efejuku also scored for 95:92, whilst Rashad Anderson helped him and his team to reach 97:92. Rashad Anderson erupted with 31 points and Oritseweyinmi Efejuku followed him with 23. Janis Strelnieks netted 13 to tie the series at 1-1. Matt Lojeski ended up with 24 points in the losing effort, while Will Thomas notched 15.
