Qualifying Round Round 2: Enisey - Spartak-Prim. 89-66

Enisey overcame a 17-point deficit after the first game of EuroChallenge Qualifying Round against Spartak-Primorie and advanced into the tournament's regular season. Enisey claimed a comfortable 23-point home win tonight to seal their ticket into the next round. Marko Marinovic stepped up with 29 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds to lead the effort. The hosts triggered a 10:2 run midway through the starting frame to take a 17:9 lead. Enisey ensured a 21:12 advantage after ten minutes of action. Spartak however cut the deficit to just 8 points midway through the second frame 21:29. The hosts capped the first half with 7 points in a row to make it 45:28. The teams traded baskets throughout the third quarter. Enisey entered the fourth quarter up by 17 points 61:44. Cuthbert Victor and Baburin gave some breathing space for Spartak as they opened the fourth quarter with 7 points in a row. However back-to-back triples from Marko Marinovic put the home team back to life. They went on a 12:2 rally to secure a 73:57 advantage. Marko Marinovic soon gave the home team a 83:62 lead. Cuthbert Victor tried to save the situation for Spartak but Enisey crowned the regulation with a 6:2 run to seal the needed success. Lonny Baxter delivered 20 points, while Andrei Komarovskiy added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the victory. Cuthbert Victor responded with 18 points for Spartak. Torey Thomas netted 11 points in the losing case.
