Regular Season Round 3: BK Pardubice - Hoverla 72-69

BK Pardubice closed Round 3 with the win over Hoverla at home. The team from Czech Republic overcame the Ukrainian side 72:69. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-12. But Hoverla won third quarter 19-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American power forward Marcus Arnold who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Center Zbynek Pospisil chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Arnold is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five BK Pardubice players scored in double figures. BK Pardubice's coach Jan Slowiak used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Brian Greene who recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import swingman Kevin Tiggs added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. BK Pardubice keeps a position of Group C leader, which they share with Roanne and BK Prostejov.
