Regular Season Round 4: Etha - Olin Edirne 70-67

ETHA improved to 2-2 record to keep the chances alive for the next stage of EuroChallenge. The team grabbed necessary 70:67 victory over Olin Edirne to keep them winless. ETHA gave themselves plenty to be proud of on Tuesday night as all of their hard work paid off as they picked up their second victory of the season defeating the Turkish team. Both sides started the contest tentatively and traded baskets for the majority of the first quarter. ETHA took 17:16 at the end of it, but trailed 2 points at the halftime. Kocaoglu brought 35:33 for his side and Abi scored for 41:33 early in the third. ETHA did their best to recover and Dejan Cup put them in front at 48:47 after three quarters. Joshua Jackson later tied it all at 61:61 and Dabkus and again Joshua Jackson scored the last points for the winners. Shawn Ray poured in 19 points for the winners and Dejan Cup netted 15. Darryl Watkins delivered 14, while Joshua Jackson scored 10. Chris Wright ended up with 19 points in the losing effort and Vladimir Stimac added 17.
