Regular Season Round 4: Goettingen - Armia 61-69

Armia surprise Goettingen in Germany to take 3-1 record in Group B EuroChallenge campaign. The Georgian team that added two more foreigners won 69:61 for 3-1 record. BG Goettingen trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 20-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 61-69 at the end of the game. Armia had a 32-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. BG Goettingen was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for Jeremy Richardson who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds. Will Thomas contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Sean Evans replied with 12 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Raymond Sykes added 7 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for BG Goettingen. Armia will face league's leader Besiktas in Istanbul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BG Goettingen will play on the road against Leiden and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
