Chalon registered their third win in EuroChallenge Group E. The French team held off visiting CSU Mobitelco for 3-1 record on top of the standings. Ilian Evtimov and Blake Schilb delivered 18 points each to lead the winners. Chalon got to a quick start. The hosts unloaded 24 points in the first frame to take a 9-point lead. Chalon kept their opponents at distance throughout the second quarter. The home team accumulated a 39:26 halftime lead. The teams traded baskets throughout the third quarter with Chalon keeping the distance. CSU Mobitelco fired 27 points in the final quarter but it was not enough as Chalon cruised to the victory at the end. Alade Aminu scored 15 points, while Ilian Evtimov added 12 rebounds to his 18 points. Kyndall Dykes and Zoran Krstanovic answered with 20 points each for CSU Mobitelco. Lawrence finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
