Regular Season Round 5: Keravnos - Pau-Lacq-Orthez 67-70

Pau-Lacq-Orthez tasted the initial victory in EuroChallenge as they beat Keravnos in Cyprus. The French who were winless the first four weeks of the competition shocked the team of Keravnos who performed badly in the specific game and lost the advantage of qualifying in the next round without any stress in the game against the Hungarians. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 34-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Pau-Lacq-Orthez outrebounded Keravnos 37-18 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Teddy Gipson stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and his fellow Allan Ray chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Wiliam Hatcher responded with 17 points and 4 assists and Strahinja Dragicevic scored 16 points. It is worth mentioned that Keravnos played without Moore and Haanpa as they are both injured and that cost him quite a lot as Moore in the top performer in most games of Keravnos in and out of the country.
