Regular Season Round 6: Aalstar - Etha 89-73

Aalstar made it to the Sweet 16 of EuroChallenge after the most important game in the group. The Belgian team needed 89:73 to take the second spot and advanced to the next round. It was a key game for the second position in Group F. The game was mostly controlled by Okapi Aalstar. Etha was better in fourth quarter 21-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 33-of-40 free shots during the game, while Etha only scored fifteen points from the stripe. Etha was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Stefon Jackson scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Christopher Young chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Darryl Watkins who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Ken Tutt added 19 points and 4 assists respectively.
