Artland Dragons defeated Antwerp in Belgium for the first victory in Group L of EuroChallenge. The German side needed a strong first half to take 67:63 win. Antwerp Giants trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 25-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 63-67 at the end of the game. Artland Dragons made 20-of-25 free shots during the game. Antwerp Giants were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game. It was a very good performance for center Darren Fenn who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 8 rebounds. David Holston contributed with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Artland Dragons players scored in double figures. Darnell Wilson answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Michael Roll added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Antwerp Giants.
