Szolnok destroy Aalstar in Hungary to tie both records at 1-1. The home side erupted for 112:76 win on Tuesday night. Szolnoki ended up outscoring the visitors 28-20 in the third quarter for an 84-64 lead and Okapi capitulated in the fourth, allowing the home side to pour in 28 more points for a 36-point triumph. Szolnok dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Okapi Aalstar's 36. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Szolnok looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Hungarian guard Obie Trotter who scored 28 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Akos Horvath chipped in 29 points (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Four Szolnok players scored in double figures. Kevin Kruger produced 21 points and his fellow American import power forward Nate Fox added 14 points respectively for the guests.
