Top 16 Round 2: BK Pardubice - Mad-Croc 73-79

Fuenlabrada edged BK Pardubice for 2-0 record in EuroChallenge to share the top place with Besiktas. The Spanish outfit overcame the hosts from Czech Republic 79:73. Both teams scored 16 points before BK Pardubice took 25:19 after the first period. Muirhead Corey brought 37:30 and Mike Hall reduced to 46:43 at the halftime. BK Pardubice dominated the third quarter and reached the double digits lead but could not win the game. Mike Hall, who only joined Fuenlabrada last week in the wake of Gustavo Ayon's departure to the NBA and injuries to big men Leo Mainoldi and Mouhamed Sene, hit a jumper at the beginning of the fourth to close the gap to five. He also made two free throws at the end for the final result. Penney Kirk top-scored for the winners with 21 points and Hall Mike added 12. Sanchez Sergio netted 10, while Cortaberria Jon had 8. Muirhead Corey ended up with 17 points and Hampton Maurice delivered 15. Arnold Marcus, Peterka Ondrej and Cernosek Jiri all chipped in with 11 points.
