Top 16 Round 3: Karsiyaka - Art.Dragons 95-99

Artland Dragons stole the show from Turkey as they opened Round 3 of EuroChallenge with the road win over Pinar Karsiyaka. The German team celebrated 99:95 win due to the last period. The victory allowed them to grab 3-0 record on top of Group L. The Turkish side meanwhile suffered their first loss and dropped to 2-1 record in the second place. It was an offensive start in the game as both teams scored 27 points in the opening period. Moreover the second quarter brought 20-20, that totaled for 47:47 at the halftime. Pinar Karsiyaka won the third period 30-21 and led by 9 points with 10 minutes to go. Artland Dragons however did not give up and after 31-18 in the last stanza sealed the victory. Holston erupted with 31 points for the winners to keep the perfect record in Group L. Thomas nailed 17 and Fenn posted 13. Stanojevic had a great night with 32 points and 11 rebounds in the losing effort, while Chatman notched 24. Karaman collected 16 points and 11 rebounds, whilst Batuk added 7.
