Gaffney leads Telekom Baskets over Szolnok in the last game of Day 3 in EuroChallenge. The German team celebrated 89:75 for 2-1 record. The game was mostly controlled by Telekom Baskets. Szolnok managed to win third quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Telekom Baskets looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Szolnok's players. The best player for the winners was American forward Tony Gaffney who scored 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. His fellow American import point guard Talor Battle chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Bulgarian forward Hristo Nikolov who recorded 25 points and 5 rebounds and center Peter Grebenar added 13 points respectively. The Hungarian team fell at 1-2 record.
