Top 16 Round 5: Triumph - Art.Dragons 87-70

Triumph handed Artland Dragons their first loss in EuroChallenge Top 16. The Russian team remained alive for the next stage after 87:70 win. Triumph needed only the victory and grabbed 19:17 after the first 10 minutes. Moreover they produced a 24-13 surge to take 43:30 at the halftime. Karasev brought 46:37 early in the second half and Zvarykin increased to 54:42. Artland had one more rally in them, scoring nine straight points to get within just three, 61:58, early in the fourth quarter, but Triumph steadied the ship. Mc Kee and Kuzyakin scored the last points from the free throw line to seal the victory. Karasev top-scored for the winners with 24 points, while McKee netted 17. Zvarykin delivered 13 and Jefferson collected 10 points and 11 rebounds. Peavy and Hilliard replied with 15 points in the losing effort, whilst Thomas notched 13.
