Triumph Lyubertsy improved to 3-3 record in Group L of EuroChallenge. The Russian team overcame Antwerp Giants 79:60 as the latter farewell to the tournament with 2-4 record. Triumph’s destiny will be decided however in another game. Triumph now need Artland Dragons to beat Pinar Karsiyaka to advance. Triumph Lyubertsy started with 26:17 in the opening period and continued their dominance. They added 20-16 in the second frame as Jefferson closed the half at 46:33. Antwerp Giants won the third period 16-14, while the hosts replied with 19-11 in the last stanza to seal the victory. Jefferson paced all the winners with 28 points and 10 rebounds, while Karasev netted 19. Landry delivered 9 and McKee notched 7. Hopkins ended up with 14 points for the visiting side and Wilson posted 11.
