BK Ventspils clinched the Quarterfinal birth as they won the overtime thriller over Roanne Basket. The Latvian team grabbed 94:92 victory for 4-2 record, while the French side fell at 3-3. The victory in the game meant the ticket to the next stage for both teams. They exchanged the lead several times in the opening period as Young brought 19:17 at the end of it. Diane and Meiers improved to 39:33, while Jackson closed the half at 39:35. Moreover Mokongo tied the game at 52:52 at the end of the third quarter. The board also showed the even numbers when the teams finished 40 minutes of the game. Later in overtime Nsonwu gave the guests 84:81 lead, while Abernethy scored the last five points for his team to clinch the victory. Young led the way with 25 points and Abernethy notched 18. Diane posted 13, while Gray delivered 11. Nsonwu ended up with 28 points in the losing effort. Holland produced 21, whilst Page added 17.
