Quarter-Finals Round 1: Mad-Croc - Triumph 75-76

Triumph shock Fuenlabrada in Spain in the first leg of the EuroChallenge Quarterfinals. The Russian team grabbed 76:75 win and will hope for the next game at home to win the series. Quino Colom had a chance to win the game at the death for the hosts but missed a contested lay-up. Triumph Lyubertsy easily started with 28:16 after the first period. They kept 11-point advantage at the halftime despite 18-19 in the second frame. The hosts did all the possible to win the game and came up with 23-13 in the third quarter. The Russian team however needed 17-17 in the last period to seal the victory. Jefferson and Kuzyakin top-scored for the winners with 19 points each. Landry nailed 16 and McKee posted 13. Mainoldi replied with 13 points in the losing effort and Laso scored 12. Hall and Lavina ended up with 11 points apiece. Game 2 will be played on March 15th in Russia.
