Quarter-Finals Round 2: Szolnok - Ventspils 82-76

Szolnok tied the Quarterfinal series over Latvian Ventspils. The Hungarian outfit celebrated an 82:76 victory. Berzins gave the guests their first lead and they took 20:19 after the first period. The second frame also belonged to the Latvian side that managed to increase the lead to 36:32 at the halftime. Gay gave the Szolnok 57:53, but Ventspils finished the third quarter with a 6-0 run. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 25-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Obie Trotter notched 19 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and Akos Horvath supported him with 14 points and 6 assists. Even 14 points, 7 assists and 4 steals by Jahmar Young did not help to save the game for Ventspils. Martins Meiers added 12 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Four Ventspils players scored in double figures.
