Quarter-Finals Round 3: Mad-Croc - Triumph 65-80

Triumph upset Fuenlabrada for the Final Four ticket in EuroChallenge. The Russian team proved it one more time in Spain with 80:65 victory. Triumph Lyubertsy led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Triumph Lyubertsy outrebounded Baloncesto Fuenlabrada 39-25 including 24 on the defensive glass. Twenty four personal fouls committed by Baloncesto Fuenlabrada helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American point guard Tywain McKee who led his team to a victory with 26 points. His fellow American import forward Davon Jefferson contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Triumph Lyubertsy players scored in double figures. Saul Blanco answered with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Leonardo Mainoldi added 16 points in the effort for Baloncesto Fuenlabrada. Triumph will face Elan Chalon in the Semifinal.
