Qualifying Round Round 2: Aliaga - Kataja 64-77

Kataja advanced into EuroChallenge regular season. They handed Aliaga Petkim the second loss in a row and ensured a 25-point victory on aggregate in the series. Jonte Flowers stepped up with 21 points and 9 rebounds to lead Kataja to the victory in Turkey. Aliaga Petkim led by a single point 22:21 after ten minutes. But Kataja limited their opponents to 12 points in the second frame and ensured a 38:34 halftime advantage. Kataja took over completely in the third term. They went on a 23:14 rally to post a 13-point lead heading into the final frame. Aliaga ran out of steam in the fourth period and could not challenge the deficit in the final minutes. Antti Kanervo posted 14 points, while Jerald Fields and Petri Virtanen provided 12 points each in the win. Orhan Haciyeva answered with 16 points and 12 boards for Aliaga. Taquan Dean had 15 points in the loss.
