Regular Season Round 1: Ventspils - Norrkoping 72-68

The Baltic side rout the Scandinavian representative at the start of the EuroChallenge campaign. Ventspils overcame Norrkoping 72:68 in Group C opener. More than 2000 fans came to support Ventspils in their first game of the EuroChallenge season. The Latvian side started with 16-12 lead and added 22-16 in the second quarter. Both teams nailed 16 points each in the third quarter as Gabriel Keith reduced to 57:47. Moreover Ringstrom Martin tied the game at 66:66, while Timma Janis and Sims Donald gave the last points for the winning side. Sims Donald paced all the winners with 16 points and Laksa Martins netted 11. Campbell Folarin tossed in 9, while Timma Janis delivered 8. Ayuba Oladapo finished the game with 14 points in defeat and Ringstrom Martin scored 13. Jeromanovs Edgars and Gabriel Keith brought 10 points each in a loss.
