Sodertalje open the season with the victory in EuroChallenge. The Swedish side overcame Pyrinto from Finalnd 74:68 in Group C. Pyrinto surprised the hosts with 23-21 in the first period but could not win the half. The Kings needed a 15-13 surge to tie the game at the halftime. Moreover they posted two victories in the second half to seal the total success. The Swedish side won the third period 17-16 and added 21-16 in the last quarter. Bizaca Toni top-scored for the winners with 23 points and Pita Dino tossed in 17. Borg Tobias delivered 13, while Simms Kenneth collected 10 points and 15 rebounds. Ulmer Lamonte answered with 25 points in defeat and Williams Damon notched 16. Lowe Kenneth and Lehto Antero followed them with 9 points apiece.
