EWE Baskets book a spot in Last 16 round after the victory over Szolnok in Hungary. The German team celebrated their fourth straight win, 85:67 to take 4-0 record on top. Szolnok is still second in the group with 2-2 record. EWE Baskets started with 24-13 in the first period and never looked behind after. They posted a 21-14 surge in the second period for massive 45:27 halftime advantage. Paulding Rickey scored for 50:31 early in the third quarter and Paulding Rickey closed the period at 59:48. Gay Brandon helped the hosts to reduce to 8 points with 9 minutes to go, but Chubb Adam increased the lead for his team at 78:58. EWE Baskets won the last stanza 26-19 and sealed the fourth victory. Joyce Dru paced all the winners with 15 points and Paulding Rickey added 14. Wysocki Konrad tossed in 13 and Chubb Adam scored 11. Gay Brandon answered with 12 points in the losing effort and Simon Balazs brought 10. Horvath Akos and Kalve Ernests delivered 9 points each in a loss.
