Krasnie Krilya successfully open quarter-final play-offs in Samara against Telekom Baskets. The Russian team won 80:60 in Game 1 and stepped closer to Final Four. Krasnie Krilya proved their ambitions as the favorites of the tournament. They started the game with 28-15 and never looked behind in the game. Moreover the hosts posted a 25-19 rally in the second frame for 19-point lead at the halftime. The tempo had slowed down in the second half as the teams exchanged the narrow wins in the third and the last quarters. Simmons Chester top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Thomas Omar added 15. Wilson Lamayn delivered 12, whilst Kolesnikov Evgeniy brought 9.
