Quarter-Finals Round 1: Gravelines - Kataja 86-57

Gravelines leave no chances for visiting Kataja in the last game of the quarter-final play-off series in EuroChallenge. The French team won 86:57 and will head to Finland in order to advance to Final Four. Game 2 to be played on March 14th. Gravelines-Dunkerque led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Joensuun Kataja to just 7 points in first quarter. Gravelines-Dunkerque forced 22 Joensuun Kataja turnovers and outrebounded Joensuun Kataja 36-22 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Dwight Buycks who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Abdoulaye M'Baye contributed with 13 points for the winners. Five Gravelines-Dunkerque players scored in double figures. Johnell Smith answered with 15 points and the other American import forward Daniel Coleman added 6 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Joensuun Kataja.
