Regular Season Round 2: Kormend - Gaz Metan 68-73

Gaz Metan continue their perfect start in EuroChallenge. The Romanian squad grabbed a 73:68 win over Kormend for 2-0 record in Group D. The Hungarian side meanwhile fell at 0-2 record. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Kormend won third quarter 20-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Kyle Shiloh who scored 17 points. Slavisa Bogavac chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. Zarko Rakocevic produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and Jeremy Fears added 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. Gaz Metan's next round opponent will be Triumph Lyubertsy. Kormend will play at home against BC Kyiv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
