Regular Season Round 6: Leiden - Cholet 67-75

Cholet cruise past Leiden to ensure their appearance in the Last 16 Round of EuroChallenge. The French team improved to 4-1 record after a 75:67 win. Dutch Leiden meanwhile fell at 1-4 record. Both teams scored 19 points each in the first period. Despite having trailed by 11 with under seven to play, Sean Cunningham responded by striking down the next four points to set off a late revival which ended with a Worthy De Jong two-pointer and Leiden only trailing by three. Cholet Basket made 16-of-17 free shots during the game. It was a good game for Rudy Jomby who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Lamayn Wilson contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Josh Duinker replied with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Michael Schachtner added 15 points in the effort for Leiden. Cholet Basket will face Bakken in Aarhus in the next round. Leiden will play at home against Joensuun Kataja in the last game of the season.
