Reggio Emilia book Last 16 appearance of EuroChallenge. The Italian team overcame KTP 86:75 and took 4-1 record on top of Group E. KTP fell at 2-3 record and will have to beat Aalstar in the next round in order to advance. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 46-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Trenkwalder RE dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to KTP-Basket's 26. It was a good game for Andrea Cinciarini who led his team to a victory with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Troy Bell contributed with 18 points for the winners. Morris Curry replied with 21 points and 5 assists and Jukka Matinen added 17 points in the effort for KTP-Basket. Trenkwalder RE will face Groningen in the next round. KTP-Basket will play on the road against Okapi Aalstar.
