Regular Season Round 6: Groningen - Aalstar 63-70

Aalstar outscore Dutch Groningen in Holland. The Belgian team overcame the opponents 70:63 to remain in the running for the Last 16. Aalstar improved to 3-2 record, while Groningen fell at 1-4 record. Groningen was trailing by 11 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 25-16 charge of Okapi Aalstar, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for Lee Cummard who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 5 assists. Da'Sean Butler contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Arvin Slagter replied with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Ross Bekkering added 13 points in the effort for Groningen. Okapi Aalstar will face KTP-Basket in the next round to find out the second, last spot for Last 16 Stage from the group. Groningen will play at home against Trenkwalder RE in the last game of the EuroChallenge.
