Well-balanced TU/Rock beat Zepter Vienna in Round 5 of EuroChallenge. The Estonian team posted an 83:60m win for 3-2 record in Group C. Zepter Vienna lost all the chances to advance to last 16 and dropped at 1-4 record. Zepter Vienna was better in fourth quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Zepter Vienna 35-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. Zepter Vienna was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Augustas Peciukevicius scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Vincent Simpson chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four TU/Rock players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Predrag Miletic with 17 points and 5 rebounds and Benedikt Danek scored 6 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. TU/Rock have a solid three-game winning streak. Zepter Vienna will face strong Ventspils in the last game.TU/Rock will take on Sodertalje Kings on the road.
