Sodertalje beat Ventspils in a thriller of EuroChallenge. The Swedish side remained alive for Last 16 stage after an 83:80 win. Both teams are with 3-2 records in Group C. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 27-21 charge, which allowed them to win the game. John Roberson notched 18 points and 8 assists to lead the effort and point guard Tobias Borg supported him with 20 points. Even 20 points and 9 rebounds by Janis Timma did not help to save the game for Ventspils. Ronalds Zakis added 12 points and 7 rebounds. Five Ventspils players scored in double figures. Sodertalje Kings will meet at home TU/Rock in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ventspils will play against Zepter Vienna.
