Second Stage Round 1: Dijon - Triumph 66-68

Triumph celebrated a road win over Dijon at the start of EuroChallenge Last 16 stage. The Lyubertsy team improved at 1-0 record in Group K. Cory Higgins scored 22 points and issued 5 assists to pace the visitors. Triumph scored 22 points in the opening frame and gained a 4-point lead. The Russian team stayed in charge throughout the second frame. Triumph established a 42:34 halftime advantage. But Dijon went off the dressing room making a defensive push. They held the visiting team to just 11 points and narrowed the gap at 4-point mark. It all came down to the final seconds in this one. Anthony Dobbins (193-G-81, college: Richmond) gave Dijon a 66:65 lead with 41 seconds remaining. But Cory Higgins scored three points in the final seconds and Anthony Dobbins missed his attempt as Triumph escaped with a narrow win at the end. Kyle Landry produced 14 points, while Jeremy Chappell had 11 points for the visitors. Mykal Riley responded with 14 points for Dijon. Anthony Dobbins and Zach Moss netted 11 points apiece in the defeat.
