Royal Hali upset Triumph in Lyubertsy for the second straight win at the EuroChallenge Last 16 Stage. The Turkish team posted a 78:74 win on Tuesday night. The Russian team fell at 1-1 record in Group K. Triumph Lyubertsy won the first period 18-14 and led 1-point at the halftime. The Turkish team used a 23-18 rally in the last stanza to seal the victory. Royal Hali made 19-of-21 free shots during the game. Baris Ermis orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 assists and 4 steals. Dejan Borovnjak contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Cory Higgins replied with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Kyle Kyle Landry added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Triumph Lyubertsy. Royal Hali are looking forward to face JDA Dijon on the road in the next round. Triumph Lyubertsy will play against Ventspils.
